Bridge House Learners Excel at Round Square International Conference

11

Six Bridge House School learners recently travelled “down under” to Australia to represent our school at the annual Round Square International Conference (RSIC 2026). Inspired by Kurt Hahn’s founding belief that “There is more in us than we know,” our delegates embraced the opportunity to push their personal boundaries alongside peers from 152 schools across 30 countries.

Throughout the conference, international collaboration took centre stage as our learners put the core Round Square IDEALS into practice, gaining invaluable cross-cultural perspectives through hands-on action:

  • Service IDEAL: Learners sorted and processed donated garments, actively engaging in practical solutions to combat the global fast fashion crisis.
  • Environmentalism IDEAL: Connecting directly with Indigenous land custodians, our team learned traditional methods of caring for Country before assisting with native tree reforestation efforts.

Small actions lead to global impact, and we are immensely proud of our Round Square team for representing Bridge House with such dedication, empathy, and leadership on the world stage!
