COLLEGE SPORT

At Bridge House, we believe that sport plays a vital role in developing our pupils through encouraging a healthy lifestyle, promoting teamwork skills and teaching inclusivity within the team space.

The extra curricular programme, in which sport plays a leading role, is a vital part of the holistic vision of education at Bridge House. Students have the option to choose from a variety of activities that will enhance and elevate their schooling experience. Not only do these activities promote good physical health, but they also allow students to express themselves in ways that are not available to them in the classroom. In addition to this students may learn and experience the value of teamwork, dedication, perseverance and a sense of belonging.

We offer a wide variety of team and individual sports on a competitive and recreational level and undertake local and international sports tours.

The Bridge House Sport DNA is a consistent thread throughout the school, reflecting on the holistic relevance and importance of sport in schools. This DNA goes beyond the “win at all costs” mentality and speaks to the overwhelming benefits of involvement in physical activity.
