Bridge House School is thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievement of our young economists—Kaeto, Marcel, Tom, and Tyler—who secured an incredible 3rd place in the prestigious 2026 Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Schools Challenge, hosted by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

Competing as first-time finalists, the Western Cape team demonstrated remarkable analytical rigour, dedication, and economic insight throughout the rigorous competition.

Their outstanding performance earned each learner a cash prize of R14,700, alongside a R23,100 award for the Bridge House Commerce Department to invest in future talent, and a brand-new laptop for their dedicated mentor and teacher, Mrs Loubser, who expertly guided them through the process.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our brilliant team and express our gratitude to the South African Reserve Bank for hosting such an enriching initiative. We are immensely proud of this benchmark accomplishment!
