to education, Nina serves as the Business Manager of Bridge House. She holds a
Bachelor of Accounting degree, providing a solid foundation in fiscal management
and strategic planning. Furthering this expertise, she is a designated Professional
Accountant (SA), a title that reflects her commitment to the highest standards of
ethics and technical proficiency in the South African financial landscape.

Prior to joining the education sector, Nina spent 12 years at PwC, one of the world’s
leading professional services firms. This extensive tenure provided a masterclass in
complex financial ecosystems and corporate governance. Notably, Nina spent six
years as a Forensic Accountant. This specialised experience in investigative
accounting, risk assessment, and internal controls serves as a vital asset to Bridge
House. It ensures absolute transparency, risk mitigation and strategic oversight.

Recognising the specific nuances of the educational environment, Nina also earned
a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Accounting for the
Senior Phase and FET. This dual perspective, merging business acumen with
educational understanding, allows for a balanced approach to school leadership
where financial decisions are always weighed against their impact on student
outcomes.
