Julie matriculated from Bridge House in 2006 prior to completing her Business Science (Finance) degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Cape Town in 2011.

Julie completed her articles at BDO Spencer before joining Sygnia Asset Management in Johannesburg, where she managed institutional clients, assisted with launching their umbrella fund and listing Sygnia Asset Management on the JSE. Julie left Sygnia to join an Investec Equity Partners task team responsible for forming an industrial services group – The Bud Group. The Investec team were responsible for the M&A and re-leveraging the private equity investment. During this time, she completed her PGD-FP (University of Free State) and qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner (FPI).

Julie recently moved back to Cape Town to raise her family and joined Saige Business Consulting. She currently manages a wide range of clients as a consultant specialising in enterprise development, formulation and implementation of strategy and the application of cloud-based financial systems. In addition, Julie has a particular interest in strategic digital marketing and a passion for training financial literacy, which she weaves into her daily work life and interactions with clients.

Julie is married to Charles. They have two children – Angus is now in playschool at Bridge House. She is passionate about Bridge House in that it is developing the thought leaders of tomorrow.
