Eckhardt Gerber studied at the Universities of Stellenbosch and KZN. A chartered accountant by trade, he did a stint in finance in England before returning to Cape Town and becoming a director in a professional services firm (audit and consulting). Eckhardt is currently the CEO for the Vinimark Group, comprised primarily of businesses involved in all aspects of the wine supply chain, including domestic and export sales, distribution and marketing. Eckhardt resides in Rondebosch with his wife Sonet and sons, Heinrich and Jürgen.
