Katli is a Director of Katika Consulting, a legal consulting firm dealing with large agri-commercial and property development clients in National Government compliance and regulation. In addition she is a Director of Kreamfields, an established waste management company focused on sustainable manufacturing, growing the circular economy and regenerative design of waste material, which she and a business partner launched as a start-up. The business now employs over 50 people.
Katli, who has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Pretoria University and a PG Dip. Management Principles from Henley, was listed in Forbes Africa 30 under 30 (Forbes Africa Magazine 2018), 100 Mandelas of the Future (mandela110.news24.com) and awarded Global Citizen “Visionary for sustainable outlook and activism”, by Hewlett Packard.
Prior to this, Katli headed the African Franchise of a UK Executive Search Firm specialising in Global Markets and Investment Banking throughout emerging markets. The client base included Standard Bank, RMB, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and Barclays Africa. She was seconded for a year to Bahrain, where while managing a team of 12, she covered the Middle East and North African market.
Katli is passionate about technology and the fourth Industrial Revolution, especially concerning its impact on the readiness of our children to succeed within it. Katli’s interest in joining the school board includes contributing to the already positive climate of Bridge House, engaging and exploring the ways in which the school can attract and retain the leaders of tomorrow by contributing skills and knowledge from her particular background. Katli’s son, Mawonga, is in Grade 00 at Bridge House.
