Waiting for Godot

Last year the Bridge House Theatre was transformed into an intimate circle-seating arrangement which added to the skilful and creative direction of a striking production of Beckett's Waiting for Godot, performed by the Matric Drama class of 2008. The students gave disciplined and startling performances and managed to successfully convey the complex message of this Absurdist play.

The first term of 2005 saw the College's first musical, Honk, being staged with more than 50 pupils and 26 staff members taking part in this fantastic production.

The Drama department's highlight in 2004 was the polished, sophisticated and professional production of The Miser by Moliere. Past productions also include the staging of The Insect Play in 2003 and The Little Prince in 2002.

A musical, The Fantasticks, will be staged in 2009. Rehearsals are well under way and the cast are working hard to uphold the fine standards that have been set in the past.
