Campus & Facilities

In July 1998 the school moved from its rented premises in Simondium into the beautiful new buildings on the Waterval farm ten kilometres outside Franschhoek. Graham Beck who owns the adjoining Bellingham Estate donated the 10 hectares on which the school was built. He has since donated another 18 hectares of land for future development by the school.

The school has excellent sports facilities on its campus, including an indoor sports gymnasium where tennis, hockey, netball and soccer are played, a half-Olympic size pool for water polo and swimming, four tennis courts, two cricket ovals, a turf wicket and turf nets, netball courts, hockey and football fields.

Biology and Science laboratories, Art Centres and three Information Technology Centres are available for Prep and College. Music and Drama classrooms are housed in the Theatre building.

The Theatre at Bridge House, built to expand Bridge House's love for the arts and to encourage and 'grow' theatre in the local community, has hosted local and visiting choirs, professional productions, school plays and corporate functions since it opened in May 2003.

Two newly-built boarding houses for eighty boarders provide 'home from home' family style boarding on the campus, allowing pupils to experience the academic, cultural and sports programme to its fullest.
