As well as having South African recognition, the IEB Senior Certificate Examination is internationally benchmarked and many candidates are directly accepted into overseas universities. Statistics show a convincing picture of the excellent progress of IEB students at universities with 98% of students continuing or completing their University course between the years 2000 - 2003.
