Bridge House Play School at Pearl Valley

Bridge House has a well equipped, perfectly positioned satellite playschool in a beautiful country setting in the secure Pearl Valley golf estate off the Wemmershoek road between Paarl and Franschhoek. The school caters for children in the 2 to 4 year old age range and offers an 08h00 to 14h00 service.

The school is owned and run by Bridge House while the school building and adjacent facilities are owned by Pearl Valley Estate. These facilities are rented by Bridge House School and the playschool is being run as a satellite feeder school. Children attending the playschool will be given preference for entry to Bridge House Pre-primary. However, parents are still required to complete the admission procedures required by Bridge House for entry into the Pre-primary.

The school has a wonderful environment for learning and apart from a very large, bright, new indoor area with interesting and stimulating learning corners and lovely equipment, there is a safe, fenced outdoor play area.

Application Requirements

  • Children must be at least 2 years old at the time of admission.
  • Before applying parents should arrange an interview with the Head of the Prep School after which application forms should be completed and submitted together with copies of the birth certificate and vaccination card as well as the R500 application fee.

Acceptance of Place

  • An offer of place will be forwarded to prospective parents once the application form has been received.
  • An offer of place must be signed and returned with a non-refundable fee of R1 000 to the school office within the allotted time indicating the acceptance of the place which has been offered.

Conditions of Enrolment

  • A child does not have to be a resident of Pearl Valley to attend the school, however, residents of the estate will be given preference. A non-resident will only be able to receive confirmation of a place in the school 6 months before enrolment. Once a child is enrolled in the school his / her place is secure.

Service

  • The school is open from 08h00 to 12h30.
  • Aftercare is available from 12h30 to 14h00.
  • 2, 3 and 5 day options are available.
  • The school will follow the Bridge House School Terms.
