Pearl Valley Play School

The Pearl Valley Play School which is owned and run by Bridge House opened its doors in August 2006 with six children and two teachers. We look forward to this initiative growing to accommodate up to 30 children in the future which will obviously lead to the employment of more staff. The school building and adjacent facilities are owned by Pearl Valley Estate and are rented by Bridge House. The school caters for children from 2 to 4 years of age and is being run as a separate entity which means that enrolment at the Play School does not in any way allow for automatic enrolment or preference in terms of placement in Bridge House.

The Play School has a wonderful environment for learning. Apart from a very large, bright, new indoor area with interesting learning corners and lots of lovely equipment, the children have a safe walled outdoor area and are also able to walk on the paths with their teachers around the dam to watch the black swans eating the grass in the water and the Egyptian Geese and mommy ducks with their babies.

The Play School is open to both residents and non residents of Pearl Valley although residents of the estate will be given preference.

Application Requirements Children must be at least 2 years old at the time of admission No application fee is required. Completed application forms and copies of birth certificates and vaccination cards are required.
