Prep Drama

The development of confidence is central to this subject. Children are exposed to various styles of drama in this highly practical subject. Drama is integrated with music in our Prep School. The Prep Hall is home to Junior and Senior classes which emphasise the telling of stories through dramatic performance. Mr Poni's classes have become a vehicle for the introduction of conversational Xhosa. Recent productions include "James and the Giant Peach" ( and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
The annual Interschools Drama Festival allows opportunities for children from a wide range of schools to experience a real theatre as they present short one act plays in our Theatre.
