With a fantastic turf wicket surrounded by majestic mountains, cricket has developed to the point where our Prep team ranks up with the best. Two tours to Kwa-Zulu Natal have proved that this sport is played at a highly competitive level in the school. We have also managed successes against a range of touring schools from the UK. The Beacon, Aldro and Papplewick have produced some thrilling games.

Indoor practice is possible with the bowling machine and the more conventional net practices take place in the turf and concrete nets.

Cricket starts in Grade 1 and the children are exposed to festivals where the emphasis is on fun and participation. This is grown year by year until they eventually play hardball cricket and play in the formal league structures.
